Whether you’re an avid ramen enthusiast or have more of a general interest in Southeast Asian flavour, Ramo Ramen is your new hotspot in Brewer Street this coming, September!

From being the home to London’s best ice cream in Mamasons Dirty Ice Cream, to the best sandos in Panadera Bakery, to now creating innovative ramen in a new space in London,

Chef Omar Shah says: “Aside from introducing Filipino dessert to London with Mamasons, we are proud to continue to represent Filipino flavours in the London food scene. It’s a great honour and opportunity for us to build something special for the Soho community and open our flagship store here.”

Founded in 2018, Ramo Ramen has since been renowned as “creative, clever refraction of Filipino culinary traditions” especially from winning Timeout x Deliveroo’s Battle of the Broth. Chef Omar Shah, one of the founders of Ramo and it’s restaurant empire, Maginhawa Group

We were thrilled to have been a standout and since then - it is through our 48-hour beef broth, Oxtail Kare Kare Ramen that Ramo became a forefront to ramen heads in London. Chef Omar Shah’s clever combination of Japanese technique and Filipino flavour is a match made in heaven that he hopes to bring to its flagship restaurant in Soho.

Chef Omar has curated a comprehensive list of new dishes with some of the rarest, interesting, and most exciting Filipino inspired dishes in our new Ramo Ramen branch.

Our new branch will releasing a new menu with a strong seafood influence and some of the best Filipino comfort dishes with a Ramo twist. Our team will be bring an exciting combination of Japanese ingredients and Filipino flavour through a seared Wagyu Bistek Donburi and Filipino fried chicken tsukemen.

Heritage is big for us as a brand as we bring the interiors of the restaurant inspired from the islands and beach houses of the Philippines and its “resto bars” found in Boracay and Palawan. It brought us great inspirations to create our exclusive signature dish for our Soho offering - a traditional coconut-based fish broth through the Lobster Ginataan Ramen which features a creative spin to a Japanese ramen.
