Vegan Ramen

Vegan Ramen

January is a month of new beginnings whether its eating healthily or starting new goals. So, why not try being vegan? The vegan community has been killing it the last couple of years, which has inspired us to celebrate this veganuary(link) by revamping our vegetarian dishes in all our restaurants, starting with Ramo Ramen. Our Miso and Walnut is a favourite amongst vegetarians, but our vegan customers would always miss out on the niitimago. That’s why we have removed it from the Miso and Walnut ramen bowl and it now contains delicious, marinated, diced tofu.

What’s Inside

This ramen bowl has: chargrilled padron peppers and tomato; marinated tofu, fermented bamboo shoots (menma); fresh spring onions; shiitake mushroom; wheat noodles; and is garnished with nori (seaweed) and pea shoots. The miso walnut ramen bowl is an experience affecting all your senses. These ingredients together creates a kaleidoscope of colours.  The walnut makes the broth : rich, nutty, and aromatic. Warm up a cold evening this winter with some ramen.

Other Vegan Options

Our fruit bubble teas (link to blog) are also vegan, bubble tea being a extremely popular  Asian beverage commonly containing sweet tapioca pearls. One of our sides- Yuca with edamame hummus- becomes vegan when you remove the parmesan. Yuca (also known as cassava) is a type of South American root similar to its cousins- potato and yam- and is often described as having a mild, sweet, somewhat nutty taste. This pairs well with the nutriet packed edamame hummus.

Why should you come to Ramo?

One user said on trip advisor “service was friendly and we will be coming again!”

Another user states “Hands down the best ramen I have tasted(…)I totally recommend. Will definitely be back again.”

Come down to 157 Kentish Town Road and prepare yourself for a dish that will definitely keep you coming back for more! Why not make Ramo Ramen apart of your veganuary journey? We are only a short walk from Kentish town overground and underground station.
