Ramo Oxtail Kare Kare

The London Lockdown 2.0 is over - with the world slowly changing, we are sure that you miss the outside world. So, are you ready to the taste the best ramen place in this city?

Our hip and bustling kitchen have been providing noodles to the streets of London for the past two years: something that is exciting to the palette and for the eye. We bring to you our very own version on a Japanese classic with a Filipino touch with our beloved dishes.

HALAL RAMEN RESTAURANT

But all noodles aside, one of the best things about our ramen is that it serves up a different take on our ingredients too especially with the fact that our kitchen is a full-pledged Halal ramen restaurant in London.

Noodles, broth and so much more - here are our three hot takes to the Best Ramen in London:

Oxtail Kare Kare Ramen

Ramen Take #1:
Take on a Ramen that you can warm yourself up with

Let’s face it everything about this season is cold - ramen is full of nutrients that is good for the immune system, especially for the “perfect amount of meat” as described by Nick from MTTHWHGN on Resilience & Ramen. He ordered our very own Battle of the Broth Champion, Oxtail Kare Kare adding that the meat seemed to be the source of the peanutyness.

My interest was piqued by the idea of Filipinx-Japanese ramen. What even is that?!

Chicken Ramen

Ramen Take #2:
Take on a Ramen that you’ll never have issues with

Have you ever heard of a Sopas? We give you a Filipino Chicken Ramen classic that will never fail you just like our friends at The Kentish Towner. Writer and Journalist, Stephen Emms said that: “No such issues await the chicken sopas, a Filipino classic. Instantly one of my top five dishes of the year, its sheer umami thwack reaches almost symphonic levels.”

The rich broth is a base for noodles, mushrooms, pea shoots and a triumvirate of hen-based deliciousness: that nitamago egg again, pulled chicken, and a heap of chicharrones – fried skin scratchings – to top it off. It bounces with contrasting textures and tastes.

Miso Ramen

Ramen Take #3:
Take on a Ramen that brings up an authenticity in you

We were so filled with joy when we heard that Eater London rated us few months ago as the #1 Ramen in London. Food writer, Mimi Aye describes her experience as “An illustration of what can happen when chefs shake off the straitjacket of “authenticity” and channel their culinary upbringings and inspirations into something singular.”

Fun, articulate, stunning cookery — it’s another hit for Shah’s Kentish Town empire.
